Position Title: Medical Assistant

External Description:

In determining the cause of urinary tract distress, responsibilities may include: setting up specific urodynamic evaluation procedures for the patient, such as collecting urine samples, administering urinary catheterizations and inserting drainage tube irrigations, situating the patient in a special chair that incorporates a catheter to transmit data to a computer for bladder function monitoring, use of electromyography to capture information from the bladder by placing electrodes and assist providers with in office procedures.

Education: High School Diploma and graduate from an accredited RN program. Current RN license in good standing. 

Experience/Qualifications: Previous experience in an Urology office preferred, current RN license, in good standing required.
